GoFøroyar is a Faroese car rental platform that connects private individuals and businesses who want to rent or rent out vehicles. By using the platform, you accept these documented terms, which govern all use of GoFøroyar.

2. Usage Policy

The platform can be used for car rentals between individuals and companies. GoFøroyar acts as an intermediary and does not own any of the vehicles. Users must provide accurate information. GoFøroyar reserves the right to suspend or delete accounts if rules are violated.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

The car owner sets the rental price. GoFøroyar charges a 20% platform fee on each rental. The remaining 80% goes directly to the car owner. Payments are processed through a secure payment gateway, and the car owner receives the payout within 3–5 business days after the rental ends.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Renters may cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the rental begins. If cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before, the car owner receives 50% of the rental fee. If the renter does not show up, the car owner receives 100% of the rental fee. If the car is unavailable or not delivered, the renter receives a full refund.

5. Safety and Responsibility

GoFøroyar prioritizes safety and trust. Car owners must upload photos of the vehicle, insurance documentation, and inspection approval. Renters must verify their identity with a driver’s license or passport. GoFøroyar is an intermediary and does not take responsibility for damages between renter and car owner but can assist with communication. All users operate on the platform at their own risk, and GoFøroyar is not liable for any potential loss or damage to vehicles.

GoFøroyar collects and processes only the personal data necessary to ensure a safe and efficient service.
